Celebration of Nations Takes Over Downtown St. Catharines

The third annual Celebration of Nations is underway in St. Catharines.

A Sunrise Ceremony kicked everything off this morning, with the lighting of the sacred fire.

The Procession of Nations will take over the downtown core at tomorrow morning. It will be lead by honourable leaders of the indigenous and non-indigenous community, starting at 10:00 a.m.

There are more than 40 events on tap for the weekend.
