UPDATE: More Charges Laid in West Lincoln Investigation

UPDATE 2: NRP officers have arrested another man relation to this crime.

The 27-year-old has been charged with theft over $5,000, mischief over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, conspiracy to commit and indictable offence and uttering threats.

 

UPDATE 1: Police have arrested another man in relation to their fraud and theft investigation.

While at the bail hearing for the 46-year-old Ancaster man, officers arrested a 58-year-old man from Cambridge.

He has been charged with theft over $5,000, mischief $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, uttering threats, conspiracy to commit and indictable offence and resisting a peace officer.

 

A 46-year-old man from Ancaster is facing a laundry list of charges in a fraud and theft investigation in West Lincoln.

Niagara Regional Police started their investigation back in January, after they heard reports of fraud and construction equipment theft from Havana Group Incorporated.

He has been charged with theft over $5,000, mischief over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, uttering threats, obtaining by false pretense and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.

The investigation is ongoing.
