2021 Canada Summer Games Lack of Funding

Organizers of the 2021 Canada Summer Games are feeling the pressure after a continued delay in funding.

The cash is divided up between federal, provincial and local governments under the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, though not a single project has been financed after a year being active.

Organizers fear that the plans may be cancelled all together if funding isn't secured by the deadline of late August.
