Yesterday's Heat was a Record Setter

Temperature records set in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritimes

Temperatures were broken in several regions as the mercury soared yesterday.

Collingwood recorded a record setting temperature of 31.8 C, making it the hottest spot in Canada.

It was just over 30 C degrees in both Ottawa and Montreal and 28.8 C in Fredericton.

Today in Niagara, Environment Canada is forecasting a high of 27 C with a humidex around 30 C.

But it is the last day we sweat it out, cooler wetter weather returns on the weekend.
