Although the full moon will be quite spectacular it falls short of being a supermoon.
According to NASA, a supermoon is a moon where 90 percent of its closest orbit is near Earth
Full moons in April and May will be even closer to Earth.
The full moon in March is also called Crow, Crust, Sap, Sugar, or Worm Moon depending on where Indigenous tribes were located.
