Police searched the vehicle in Niagara Falls on Tuesday, finding some drugs, driver impaired by drugs
Police have taken another driver off the road this week who they say was impaired by drugs.
It was early Tuesday afternoon, when police noticed a vehicle stopped at the corner of Montrose and Highway 420 in Niagara Falls.
They looked into this, and believed the driver was impaired, and a further search of the vehicle found:
- 43.7 grams of suspected fentanyl
- 23 grams of suspected cocaine
- 24 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine
- $940 in Canadian currency
Police arrested 34-year old Michelle Tucker of Niagara Falls, charged with:
- Impaired Operation of a Conveyance – Drug
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Crystal Methamphetamine
- Possession of Proceeds Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Drive While Under Suspension (Highway Traffic Act)
She was released from custody with a future court date.
