The City of Welland will mark the passing of former MP and Mayor Allan Pietz.
Pietz, who passed away on April 23rd, was Welland's mayor from 1965 to 1978.
He became a Conservative Member of Parliament in 1984, and remained in the role until 1988.
He ended his career as a regional councillor in Welland.
On Wednesday, flags will be lowered to half-mast at all City facilities.
