OLG says Joshua Kurucz said 'yes' to Encore in the Ontario 49 draw

A 31-year old Welland man is celebrating after winning $100,000 with the Ontario 49 draw.

Joshua Kurucz decided to say 'yes' to Encore, and matched the last six of seven numbers in exact order in the January 27th draw.

He says he usually switches between Ontario 49 and Lotto 6/49.

Once he realized he won after checking the OLG app, he waited to drive home in order to let the shock wear off.

Joshua is thinking of buying a boat to go fishing, but for the time being, it'll go in the bank.

The ticket was bought at the Shell on Highway 69, in Pointe Au Baril.
