Uptick across province continues
A fourth day of COVID cases above 700 in the province.
The Health Ministry says there were 784 cases today and 857 infections yesterday.
Of the 784, over 600 were in people either not vaccinated, partially vaccinated or in those whose vaccine status was unknown.
In Niagara, public health reported 38 new cases yesterday and 33 today.
There are a total of 284 active cases of COVID in the region.
As of Friday, Niagara Health says there are 12 patients in hospital with the virus, 4 in the ICU.
Ten of those patients are between the ages of 41 and 65, the other two are over 65.
