A word of warning to drivers in Pelham.
You'll soon need to find another route to work for a few couple of weeks if you take Regional Road 29 (Webber Road).
The street will close between the railroad crossing at Church Street to Murdoch Street in Welland.
The closure will take place weekdays between Tuesday, August 24th to Friday, September 3rd, between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The street is being closed to pave the road surface.
As a detour, you can take Webber Road to Victoria Avenue (Regional Road 24) to Riverside Drive (Regional Road 27).
Local businesses and residents will have access during the closure but may need to take a different route than usual to arrive.
The town will be closed to through traffic while the road is closed.
