Watch for Kids Trick or Treating: NRP

Police say they'll be out tonight, making sure everyone is safe, remembering little kids can get excited

Another reminder from Niagara regional police to be wary, mindful, of the extra kids and parents walking around tonight for Halloween.

Drivers are asked to remember little kids may be excited, so drive carefully especially in neighbourhoods.

NRP will be out tonight, promoting safety and offering any assistance needed.

The force says it's a good idea for children to travel in groups, or with trusted adults.  

Make sure those costumes have reflective tape, as dark costumes make it tougher for drivers to see  someeone.

Police add to stay on sidewalks, and when you get home, inspect your treasures, and if anything looks suspicious, don't eat it.
