He is encouraging all drivers to obey road closures, after a Wainfleet firefighter was hit by a vehicle.
Fire Chief Morgan Alcock says the driver ignored a detour, drove around the blockade and hit the firefighter this morning.
The firefighter was checked out by EMS on scene and taken to hospital for medical clearance afterwards.
