Can you help police find this man, wanted after theft at Grimsby parking lot
Niagara regional police have a description of a suspect wanted in what they're calling distraction thefts.
They were called concerning a complaint coming from the Real Canadian Superstore parking lot in Grismby on Saturday, March 4th.
Police found a man approached someone who had just left the store, and began asking questions about the nearest hospital. While the complainant was distracted, it's believed a second suspect took the victim's purse from the unlocked vehicle. The victim found the purse was missing once arriving at home, and eventually discovered 3 credit cards had been used.
Police have released pictures of the 1st suspect, who is Middle Eastern, about 40 to 50 years old, 6' tall, with a heavy build. He has black hair, beard and mustache. Police add he was wearing a grey toque, black coat, green sweatshirt with a hood, black pants with white and gold lettering down the sides, and black shoes with a red sole.
