Good news for Niagara not for profits
The United Way is expanding its special project funding beginning August 1st.
Through a longtime partnership with the Branscombe Family Foundation, the United Way has been able to offer one time grants up to $10,000 to not for profit groups in Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, Pelham, Port Colborne, Welland and Wainfleet four times a year.
But this year in the addition to that funding, the United Way says it will expand the program to include non profits in all of Niagara's other municipalities.
The United Way says the fund focuses on projects that directly impact vulnerable populations,
