A heads up to Go Transit users.
The union representing over 2,000 Go Transit workers says members will hit the picket lines on Monday if negotiations fail.
The Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1587 says members voted 81 percent against a contract offer from employer Metrolinx.
The union says talks will continue this weekend, but workers will go on strike if no deal is reached.
President Rob Cormier says the union's top issues include job security and job safety, in relation to contract workers being hired from other companies.
Members have been working without a contract since June 1st.
