Two teenagers from Niagara Falls have been arrested following an incident in the Falls.
Around 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, NRP officers responded to a weapons complaint at Chippawa Lions Park.
A verbal argument developed between teenagers at the park.
A male teen took out a replica handgun and fired it over 10 times at another male teenager.
The 16 year old was punched and kicked by the shooter and another male teen after being hit with the BBs.
The victim was transported to a local hospital, and his injuries are not considered life threatening.
Later that day, the 16 year old who fired the replica handgun was arrested and charged for assault and discharging an air gun or pistol with intent.
The other suspect, a 15 year old, was arrested the following day and charged with assault.
Both youths were released from custody with future court dates.
