Police seize about $12,000 worth of suspected fentanyl and suspected crystal meth
Two people from Niagara Falls are facing charges after a drug raid in the city.
The investigation started in April, and yesterday, officers searched a home on Kalar Road near Niven Street.
Police say 194.3 grams of suspected fentanyl and 45 grams of suspected crystal meth were seized.
The drugs have an approximate street value of $11,900.
Investigators also found $715 of Canadian currency, which is believed to have been acquired through crime.
Facing charges are 38 year old Colin David Geisendorf and 27 year old Zachary Durant of Niagara Falls.
The pair remain in custody, and a bail hearing is set for later today.
