 
                            Niagara Public Health is reporting 27 new cases of COVID-19, and two more deaths.
The region's death toll is now at 371, and there are six people with the virus in area hospitals.
There are 231 active cases and 24 active outbreaks.
Niagara Falls has the most active cases with 53, followed by 46 in St. Catharines and 41 in Welland.
There are four confirmed cases of the variant that started in the UK, with 85 more cases under investigation for variants.
Throughout Ontario, there are 1092 new cases and ten more deaths today.
There are 293 new cases in Toronto, 199 in Peel and 79 in York Region.
One year ago today, the World Health Organization declared the spread of COVID-19 as a global pandemic.
