Niagara Public Health is reporting 29 more COVID-19 fatalities, bringing our death toll to 171.
There were 110 more new cases today, and eighty-three people are battling the virus in our local hospitals.
Currently, the region has 947 active cases and 44 active outbreaks.
The highest amount of active cases are in Niagara Falls, West Lincoln and St. Catharines.
Throughout Ontario, there were 3266 new cases today.
Toronto had 805, Peel had 523, and York Region had 349.
Windsor-Essex County and Waterloo also reported high numbers - 208 and 206 respectively.
