Multiple sources say Toronto police officer killed.
One person has been killed and three others injured following a pair of shootings in the Greater Toronto Area.
Peel Regional Police say the first incident occurred near Argentia Road and Winston Churchill in Mississauga just after 2:00 p.m.
Two people were shot, and one was killed.
The second victim was taken to a local trauma centre.

The second incident took place at a plaza in Milton near King and Main Streets this afternoon.
Police say three people were shot just before 3:00 p.m.
Two have been taken to hospital, and one person died
Investigators say they believe the same person is responsible for both incidents.
Police are on the hunt for a suspect described as a black male with a thin build.
According to investigators, the suspect vehicle is stolen, and the license plate is CLMZ 905.
Just before 4:30 p.m., the province issued an emergency alert warning the public of an 'active shooter' and advising residents not to approach the suspect if spotted.
Shortly after the emergency alert, a suspect was taken into custody.
