The St. Catharines Museum will commemorate the stories and experiences of the Black community woven into our local history, with a blog series written by local historian Rochelle Bush, as well as virtual tours of the Museum's Follow the North Star exhibition.
On February 15th, the Niagara Falls History Museum presents an online film to commemorate the month entitled "Walking the Talk".
Following the death of George Floyd by police in the U.S, "Walking the Talk" is an account of how people in some Canadian cities rose in solidarity with Black Americans in June 2020, to condemned years of ongoing systemic racism and social injustice in Canada.
