Some tense moments at Niagara Regional Headquarters after police were called in to investigate a threat.
Police say officers were called to the Thorold building by staff yesterday afternoon just before 4:00, after they received a threatening phone call.
Roads in the area and access to the building were temporarily closed while members of the Emergency Task Unit cleared the building.
After a search, police determined there was no threat to staff or the building and roads were reopened just after 5:00.
