Three people killed in car wrecks during the Easter weekend
It was a busy weekend for Ontario Provincial Police officers.
Officers monitored roads to help keep people safe, however, three people died in car crashes and one person was killed in a snowmobile incident.
As part of a province-wide seatbelt campaign, 1,507 charges were laid against drivers and passengers who didn't buckle up.
Another big threat was aggressive drivers, with 5,186 speeding charges and 129 stunt/racing charges laid.
Police also busted 141 impaired drivers, and 137 distracted driving charges were laid.
The seatbelt campaign ran April 7-10.
