It has been a week of double digit increases in Niagara.

Public Health reported 10 new cases of the virus today after reporting another 10 cases yesterday, 16 new cases on Tuesday and 15 new cases on Monday.

Over 1,300 people have now been infected with the virus since the pandemic began.

We currently have 86 active cases in the Region and most of them are in Welland.

None of them are in Wainfleet.

We also have six active outbreaks in effect and four people are currently being treated for the virus in our local Niagara Health hospitals.
