Teenager Beaten Unconscious with Bat

Police are looking for three suspects after boy was assaulted walking on Vine Street in St. Catharines, suspects parked in SUV on Holden Street

Police are looking for the criminals that beat a teenaged boy with a baseball bat and left him unconscious.

They were called Saturday night, at around 8:30, to the Vine and Holden Street area of St. Cathariines for reports of an assault.

Police say the boy was walking on Vine Street, when three male suspects got out of a smaller, black SUV that was parked on Holden Street.

One of them used a bat on the victim until he fell to the ground, and lost consciousness.

Police say the thugs fled in the SUV, last seen heading north toward Carlton Street.

The boy is in hospital in serious condition, and police hope anyone has video of this crime to call them.
