Police say the driver of the car lost control early this morning in St. Catharines
An overnight collision in St. Catharines has taken the life of a 19-year old.
Police say it happened after 1 this morning, when they were called to the scene on Glenridge Avenue, between Lockhart Drive and John Macdonell Street.
They say a Pontiac Vibe was travelling north on Glenridge, when the driver lost control, and crossed into on-coming traffic, colliding with a snowplow.
Tragically, police say the St. Catharines resident driving the car was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are asking for witnesses, or anyone who has video of the crash to call them.
