UPDATE: Police have tracked down the aluminium brake that was reported stolen from Jean Vanier High School in Welland.
Officers arrested a 38-year-old man yesterday.
He has been charged with break and enter, trafficking property obtained by crime and impaired driving.
The NRP found the man after he crashed a blue Chevy Silverado pickup truck into a parked vehicle in the Mcnaughton Road and Nelles Road area.
He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A 10 foot aluminum brake has been reported stolen from Jean Vanier High School in Welland.
Police say it was taken during a break in on Wednesday and it's worth about $4,000.
The aluminium brake is silver with red handles and it was in the outdoor technological education area at the time of the theft.
Both of the suspects are believed to be white men.
The first is about 6'2" and the second is about 5'9".
They both have slim builds and were clean shaven.
They were driving an dark coloured, older model, Chevy Silverado pickup truck with the paint sanded down on both sides of the box.
