Police say stores in West Lincoln, St. Catharines and Hamilton robbed, 2 Brampton men arrested
Two men from Brampton have been charged after a vape store in St. Catharines was robbed.
Police say two people forced their way into the store on Lake Street early Saturday morning, November 15, and stole about $31,000 of product.
Police found similar break and enters at a store in West Lincoln and Hamilton, estimated value of stolen goods about $70,000.
The investigation led police to a storage unit and store front in Brampton, where they found about $40,000 in stolen product, and arrested two men.
Police say 31-year old Satnam Singh and 30-year old Gurkirat Dhaliwal are both charged with:
- Trafficking in Property Obtained by Crime Exceeding $5000 (2 counts)
- Break and Enter – Commit Theft
- Disguise with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence
- Fail to Comply with Release Order
Both are in custody on other matters, with bail hearings expected.
