St. Catharines NDP MPP Jennie Stevens believes all veterans should be able to apply for grants from Ontario's Soldiers' Aid Commission.
The money helps veterans out of emergency situations, including homelessness, but only those who served before 1953 can apply.
Stevens brought it up during Question Period today, when she called on the Ford Government to extend coverage to all.
About 60 percent of the Commission's annual budget remains unspent each year.
