Stats Can Reporting Economic Boost in July

Agency says the economy grew by 0.1 percent in July.

Statistics Canada says the economy grew by 0.1 percent in July, which is higher than predicted. 

The agency says growth in goods-producing industries was partially offset by a drop in the service sector. 

Experts are predicting an economic slowdown, as interest rates continue to rise in order to fight inflation.
