Police seize over $20,000 worth of psilocybin
Police have made an arrest after a drug bust in St. Catharines.
Yesterday, officers conducted a search at Fun Guyz, a business on St. Paul Street between Queen and William.
Officers seized 2,119 grams of suspected psilocybin (magic mushrooms).
The estimated value of the drugs is $21,190.
Police also say $1,555 cash was found.
Carli Dawn Alicia Summers, 31, of St. Catharines, was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000
- Possession of Psilocybin for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Trafficking Psilocybin
She has been released on bail, and is due in court next month.
