Brand new exhibit opening
The St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre is marking Black History Month with several tours and a new exhibit.
On Saturday, visitors will be able to enjoy a 45 minute tour of On the Liberty Line.
Children and their families will have a look at early Black history in St. Catharines and what life was like during the Underground Railroad era and beyond.
On Sunday, a one-hour tour of the Last Stop exhibit is taking place.
This program, which is designed for adults, will explore what it meant to be a Freedom Seeker in St. Catharines.
Meanwhile, a new exhibit is being launched later this month.
The "Last Stop: In Their Own Words" exhibition will be opened on February 25th, and will include a tour.
