Members of the public can register to get a free fall tree.
The City of St. Catharines is giving away free trees this fall.
Starting Tuesday, residents can click here to request a tree to plant at home.
Five hundred trees will be available on a first-come, first serve basis through online orders.
Those selected will receive a follow-up email with pickup instructions.
Residents can get an Eastern White Cedar, Ironwood or Nannyberry tree this year.
The City says citizens must agree to plant and maintain them only on their own property in St. Catharines.
Each address is limited to only one tree, and proof of residency will be required.
