Man who suffered serious burns after yesterday's fire has died in hospital
The man who was hospitalized following yesterday's fire in St. Catharines has died of his injuries.
Police say the man was in his thirties and was a resident of St. Catharines.
His identity has not been released.
The incident occurred yesterday at a chemical facility located on Keefer Road in the Port Weller area.
Crews were called to the area around 6:30 in the morning, and the blaze spread to a nearby building.
The Ontario Fire Marshall remains at the scene, and the investigation is expected to take 7 to ten days.
Police say traffic flow in the area will be affected as the investigation continues, and road closures can be expected.
