Kids in Welland will soon be able to enjoy splash pads again.
The City notes work is underway to open some splash pads by this weekend.
Staff expect the splash pads at Chippawa Park and Glenwood Park to open on Friday, depending on an inspection and approval by Niagara Region Public Health.
Meanwhile, the newly installed splash pads at Memorial Park and Maple Park will need to be commissioned by the installer and inspected by health officials before being opened.
