UPDATED: Environment Canada Issues Winter Travel Advisory

You'll need to have your winter coat handy for the next couple of days.

Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for the southern and northern Niagara regions.

Beginning overnight, expect about 10 to 15 cm of snow by tomorrow afternoon.

Snow accumulation will be less along the lakeshore.

Motorists are warned that the snow may impact the commute to work tomorrow morning.

Environment Canada has issued a weather advisory for Southern and Northern Niagara.

The forecast is calling for a low of 0 over night and 5-10 centimetres of snow beginning around 11:00 p.m. this evening.

People in the area are being advised to watch out for adverse weather conditions, and take necessary precautions.

The snow is expected to continue through tomorrow morning, changing to flurries by early afternoon.

However, spring temperatures are expected back by Thursday, with Environment Canada forecasting a high of 7 with a mix of sun and cloud.
