Smile Cookie campaign to take place May 1st-7th
You'll soon have a chance to enjoy some tasty treats and help a good cause.
The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie campaign takes place May 1-7.
Over 600 charities and community groups will benefit.
This year, the cost of a Smile Cookie will be $1.50, which is up from $1.00.
Smile Cookie pins will cost $2.00.
"From May 1 through May 7 at Tim Hortons restaurants across Canada and in the United States, 100 per cent of the proceeds from sales of Smile Cookies will over 600 local charities and community groups chosen by Tim Hortons restaurant owners.``
In St. Catharines and Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Pathstone Foundation and Hotel Dieu Shaver Rehabilitation Foundation will benefit from the initiative.
In Crystal Beach, Stevensville, Fort Erie and Welland, proceeds will benefit Hospice Niagara.
In Niagara Falls, proceeds will go to the Niagara Health Foundation.
Meals on Wheels will receive proceeds from cookies sold in Port Colborne.
In Grimsby, the West Lincoln Hospital Foundation will benefit.
In Beamsville and Vineland, the Rose Cottage Visiting Volunteers Community Hospice will receive funds.
