Be careful where you try to cool off during heat event
With the extreme heat you may be looking to our local beaches to cool off.
Keep in mind six beaches are still posted as unsafe for swimming due to e-coli bacteria or algae.
Cedar Bay in Port Colborne as well as Lakeside in St. Catharines are among those posted.
