Niagara Falls will shine a blue light tonight along with all the hospitals in the Niagara Health System.
Today marks the 200th birthday of Florence Nightingale, the founder of modern nursing.
The hospitals will shine the blue light from 5:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. and the Falls will change colour for 15 minutes starting at 10:00 p.m.
This week also happens to be National Nursing Week.
More than 2,100 nurses work in the Niagara Health system and they have all been working hard on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
