The Shape Your Life boxing program is expanding, to help teens affected by family violence in Niagara and Edmonton.
It's going to help 200 youth across both cities, between the ages of 13 and 18.
This is all thanks to $320,000 in funding from the Public Health Agency of Canada.
Ottawa is setting aside $1.3-million for projects that use positive parenting and sports, in order to prevent child maltreatment and support survivors of family violence.
Niagara Centre MP Vance Badawey and St. Catharines MP Chris Bittle made the big announcement at Brock earlier today.
