Search warrant turns up several firearms and rounds of ammunition.
Seven people are facing charges in connection to a firearms investigation in St. Catharines.
Police say just after midnight yesterday, a search warrant was conducted near Louth Street and Nash Street.
Several items were seized, including a loaded Black 6 shooter Colt DA.88 revolver, a modified (sawed off) 22. calibre single shot rifle that was loaded, and an 8 live 12 gauge shotgun.
Officers also found a loaded Hatson Arms pump action shotgun, six live rounds inside a speed loader fitted for a .38 revolver and numerous rounds of ammunition.
Facing charges of Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession and Careless Storage of a Firearm are 40 year old Dalshan Baines of no fixed address, 30 year old Ulysses J. Alligood of no fixed address, 26 Moises Medeiros of no fixed address, 35 year old Christopher Redmond of St. Catharines, 27 year old Megan Loggie of St. Catharines, 29 year old Britteny A. Henry of St. Catharines, and 21 year old Chassidy H. Archer of no fixed address.
Baines had also been charged for Possession of Firearm, Weapon or Ammunition.
