The Canadian Press says government will end the vaccine mandates for domestic travelers, outbound international travelers and federally regulated workers starting on June 20th.
CANADA - It looks like the federal government is about to end the vaccine mandates for crossing the border.
As of June 20th, domestic travellers, outbound international travellers and federally regulated workers won't have to worry about showing proof of COVID-19 vaccination. The official announcement is expected to take place at some point today.
Two government sources have also told the Canadian Press that federal workers who have been placed on unpaid leave due to the vaccination status will also be affected by the rule change.
Processing delays have been reported at several Canadian airports over the past few weeks.
