The list of members of the Community Coordination Task Force for COVID-19 has been released.
Niagara Regional Chair Jim Bradley has announced that Dr. David Dec has accepted the role of task force chair.
Dr. Dec will also serve as a liaison between the Board of Health and the task force.
Another addition to the team is Dr. Robin Williams, who is the former Niagara Medical Officer of Health and the former Associate Chief Medical Officer of Health for Ontario.
He will act as a special advisor for the task force.
Niagara Region Acting Medical Officer of Health Dr. Mustafa Hirji is also on the task force.
The task force plans to localize the province's vaccination strategy and provide reports as needed to residents, the Board of Health and local municipal councils.
