Region Defers Discussion on Mandatory Masks

It came down to the wire, after a special meeting lasting nearly five hours.

Regional Chair Jim Bradley broke the stalemate and deferred the issue of mandatory masks in indoor public spaces.
Regional Council will look at it again on July 23rd.
The biggest issue at last night's special meeting was how a potential bylaw would be enforced.
A proposed bylaw for mandatory masks will be up for a vote at St. Catharines City Council on Monday.
Niagara Falls City Council will look at the idea on Tuesday.
