Public Health is reporting 299 cases of COVID-19 in Niagara Region residents.
It says 30.8 percent live in long-term care or retirement homes and 14.4 percent work in the health care system.
It also says 77.6 percent of Niagara’s cases are self-isolating, 12 percent have been hospitalized and 2.7 percent have been admitted to intensive care.
Public Health is also reporting 26 deaths and 99 resolved cases today.
We have 494 new cases of the virus and 51 new deaths across Ontario.
This means we now have 8,447 cases province-wide and our death toll has reached 385.
