A local community hub is getting some help from the province.
The Ontario government is investing $16 million into the expansion and renovation of the Peach King Centre in Grimsby.
The investment will help add a full-sized gymnasium, an accessible indoor walking and wheeling track, and an outdoor recreation space.
It'll also bring more gathering spaces and multi-purpose rooms to the centre.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff says this is great news for Grimsby.
"With the expansion and renovation of the Peach King Centre, the town will be anchored by two modern and accessible community hubs for sport and recreation, including the Niagara West YMCA on the East end and new community centre on the West end."
