The province is offering second vaccination doses to first responders and medical staff dealing with COVID-19 patients at a shorter interval than the general public.
Starting later this week, all hospital staff interacting with COVID-19 patients, as well as community health workers, first responders and essential caregivers to people in long term care homes can book their second vaccination.
In March, the province pushed second vaccination doses from 21 days to 16 weeks in order to offer a first jab to as many people as possible.
This comes as the province expands eligibility to most cancer patients, dementia and diabetes sufferers and people 40 and older this week.
