Ontario's opposition leaders pushing Ford government to spend more on health care.
The provincial and federal governments are being urged to increase health care spending.
In Ontario, the NDP and the Liberals say the Ford government needs to do more to sustain critical health services in the province.
Interim NDP Leader Peter Tabuns says the province should spend a "workable amount" on health care to address staffing shortages and long wait times in the province's emergency rooms.
The Liberals also say the government needs to spend more money on recruiting and training staff.
Meanwhile, at the premiers' meeting in Victoria, Canada's premiers are asking the federal government to increase its share of health care funding from 22 to 35 percent.
