Good news for those of you working from home or home schooling the kids, the province is extending its hydro rate relief program until February 9th.
The Ford government says it will continue to hold electricity prices at the off peak rate of 8.5 cents per kilowatt hour.
So that means you get the lower rate no matter what time you use hydro, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The province brought back the off peak rate on January 1st for a 28 day period to give families and small businesses a break.
