Premier Doug Ford and former Solicitor General Sylvia Jones have been summoned to testify at the public inquiry into the Emergencies Act.

Premier Doug Ford and former Solicitor General Sylvia Jones have been summoned to appear as witnesses at the public inquiry into the Emergencies Act.

Lawyers for the Public Order Emergency Commission say they asked the pair to sit down to an interview on September 19th.

However, the request was denied.

According to a letter sent by commission lawyers, they believe Ford and Jones have evidence that is relevant to the inquiry.
